Syften vs Byline Leads
Syften or Byline Leads: real-time keyword alerts, or the threads that rank
Syften is a monitoring tool: it watches Reddit, Hacker News, Stack Exchange, forums, blogs, Bluesky, Mastodon, podcasts, newsletters and more, and alerts you when a new post matches your filters. Byline Leads looks at what Google shows for your customers' searches instead, and writes a reply for each result.

FAQ
Questions people ask
Does Byline Leads send an alert the minute a post goes up?
No. It scans daily or weekly and looks at what Google shows on the first page for your searches. A brand-new post usually is not there yet.
That is the point: a thread on the first page is read by everyone who makes that search, often for months, so a good answer there keeps working. For instant alerts on new mentions, a monitoring tool is the better fit.
Does Byline Leads post the replies for me?
No. Each result comes with a reply written for that thread, in its language. You read it, change what you like, and post it yourself from your own account. Nothing is posted automatically.
